Why Should You Get “Naked” For Better Health?
I realize it is fall and the temperatures might suggest you bundle up, cut on the fireplace and/or turn on the electric blanket. However, I have come today to suggest you get “naked”. Why would I make such a suggestion? Have I lost my mind? (I’ll let you decide.) Here’s why I suggest you get “naked”.
Specifically what I'm talking about is Naked Juice, a product line of all natural fruit juices and smoothie blends, consisting of remarkably creative mixtures and pairings of various fruits and vegetables, loaded with essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Wonderful nutrition for your busy on-the-go lifestyle.
Naked Juice Overview
These lines of juice and smoothie blends are a new find for me, but I have fallen in love rather quickly. Naked Juice is extremely refreshing. A wide assortment of delicious flavors. Healthy and packed full of
the good stuff your body needs and craves on a daily basis. Thanks to a wide variety of flavors, each with its own nutritional benefits, Naked Juice is quickly becoming the popular choice for health advocates, vegetarians, and regular consumers who simply enjoy the refreshing blends that consist purely of fruit, fruit juices, and/or vegetables, with an extra-dose of healthy vitamins and minerals on the side.
With humble beginnings as far back as 1983, the Naked Juice empire evolved from a one-man smoothie operator to a local grocery store account, eventually reaching across the country and assimilating itself into health food culture and taking pride in its efforts to remain all-natural and all-delicious.
Each variety is 100% natural, boasting no added sugar, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. One particular flavor, aptly titled "Green Machine", consists of golden kiwis, bananas, apples, and pineapple. It is also bursting with green tea extract, and many more additional vitamins and minerals. You'll find similar blends make up a large portion of Naked Juice flavors, ensuring that each bottle contains an equal share of optimum flavor and healthful benefits.
Depending on what size bottle you purchase, you can fulfill anywhere from 1-4 recommended servings of fruit per day. A 15.2 ounce bottle contains a pound of fruit, and the 32 ounce bottle contains a whopping 2 pounds of fruit.
Family of Juice Blends
Naked Juice also produces 100% pure juices, such as orange juice, apple juice, and carrot juice. Additionally, the company has sorted its product line into various families that exhibit certain healthful benefits. For example, the Antioxidant family consists of 6 flavors: Berry Blast, Mighty Mango,
Rainforest Acai, Pomegranate, and two Pomegranate blends. These particular juices and smoothies are packed with various vitamins and loaded in antioxidants.
Other families include the Protein family, the Well Being Family, the Energy family, and others. Whether you choose to drink Naked Juice for the health benefits, to support natural foods, or just because they taste delicious, you'll be doing your body a favor no matter what flavor you choose. I like to drink a combination of flavors each day, in order to strengthen my immune system with vitamins and antioxidants, or to boost my protein intake, or simply to feel refreshed and energized.
My Personal Favorites
My favorites are Blue Machine (a blend of acai berries, purple plum and concord grapes), Tropical-C (exotic blend of orange, pineapple and passion fruit) and Protein Zone (whey, soy protein in a juice blend for healthy muscles).
Where to Purchase
Naked Juice can be found in the produce section of most supermarkets, but sometimes flavor selection can be sparse. For a more complete array of variety, try looking for Naked Juice in a health
food store or grocery specializing in natural foods. They can also be found at the wholesale stores Costco, Sam’s Club, Super Target where they are sold in packs of two 32 ounce bottles, usually at prices considerably cheaper than at the supermarket.
Naked Juice is all natural and contains no preservatives, it needs to be kept cold, but the shelf life is usually more than adequate, averaging about a month depending upon the particular flavor. However, you'll probably be consuming the Naked Juice rather quickly, so shelf life is hardly an issue.
Let me know how your “naked” experience works out for you. I would love to hear which juice blends become your favorites.
Enjoy!
